王兆印成果简介

王兆印的创造性学术成就主要有以下四项:高含沙水流理论;植被-侵蚀动力学;河床结构消能减灾的理论与实践;以及河流生态综合管理。此外,他和他的团队也在河床演变取得一些成果。

① 植被-侵蚀动力学

1998-2005年间创立了植被-侵蚀动力学。建立了植被发育、土壤侵蚀及人类活动三者之间的动力学关系的方程组并得出理论解。植被-侵蚀动力学是水文泥沙、地貌演变和植被生态环境的边缘学科,也是一个崭新的研究方向。结合流域产沙与植被变化、人类活动的关系,开展了植被-侵蚀动力学的研究。植被发育和土壤侵蚀这一对矛盾相互遏制、相互适应,具有一定的动力学规律。在气候、土壤基本不变的条件下,经过长期相互作用,一个地区(或流域)的植被与侵蚀会达到一种动态平衡。许多来自自然和人类的挠动,会破坏这种平衡,影响和改变植被生态系统原有的发育过程,这些挠动被称为生态应力。将各种作用于植被的生态应力量化,包括土壤侵蚀、火山爆发、森林火灾、砍伐、风灾旱灾病虫害等。植被与土壤侵蚀相互作用并受其它生态应力的影响,服从动力学耦合微分方程组。在方程组求解的基础上发展出植被-侵蚀状态图,可以预测在停止人类干预后的植被和土壤侵蚀的发展趋势。流域的植被-侵蚀有2种极端不同的状态:A)侵蚀率增大、植被覆盖度降低;C)侵蚀率降低和植被逐渐完善,和两种过度状态:B)植被和侵蚀率都增长; D)植被和侵蚀率都减少。流域治理的目标就是将其带入C状态。这一成果应用于黄土高原、云贵高原和干旱河谷、南方红壤区和华北土石山区。结果表明在黄土高原增加植被对于减少侵蚀作用显著,治理方略应该首先增加植被使其进入D状态,再结合控制侵蚀最终进入C状态。在黄土高原的植被-侵蚀状态图上C状态区很小,植被修复后如发生破坏仍然可能发生退化。在云贵高原干旱河谷减少侵蚀对改善植被的作用大,治理措施首要为控制侵蚀,植被发育进入C状态就具有了自我修复能力。南方红壤区植被-侵蚀状态图上C状态区很大,严重破坏后选用适当物种人工造林可以大大加快植被修复和植被演替,迅速发育乔灌草藤竹复合植被,即使发生破坏也能自我修复。分析状态图还得出,不论哪个地区,小流域治理是植被修复的最快捷有效的方法,同时大面积治理效果较差。这个理论应用于三江源沙漠化地区发现,改变沙漠表面颗粒级配控制风沙运动,沙漠就可以变成绿洲。

这方面的成果现在发表在“中国科学”、“生态学报”和国际期刊ASCE "Journal of Environmental Engineering"、“International Journal of Sediment Research”等期刊上。

②高含沙水流和泥石流研究

从1979年以来,研究高含沙水流20多年。主要通过实验研究了高含沙水流的流变特性、颗粒在高含沙水流中的沉降速度、浮力定理、高含沙水流的阻力和减阻、非牛顿流体的湍流统计特性和流速分布、高浓度固液两相流的运动机理、高浓度管道水力输送等现象。建立和发展了高含沙水流运动理论。揭示了一般挟沙水流、高含沙水流及泥石流的不同物理图景及内在联系,提出高含沙水流的伪一相流、两相流及层移质三种运动形式及中性悬浮质的输沙模式。通过实验得出不同泥沙的高含沙水流的流变特性、矿物组成的影响、以及转变为非牛顿体的条件。在圣维南方程基础上推导出了非牛顿体的小扰动方程,证明屈服应力使扰动放大,导致高含沙水流流量震荡和形成滚波。通过实验测量对高含沙湍流进行能谱分析,发现脉动频率随粘性下降,由此揭示高含沙水流的减阻机理。在实验和野外观测基础上分析得出高含沙洪峰变化和剧烈河床演变规律,以及高含沙河口三角洲的高频改道特性。

1994年应国际水力学会邀请由荷兰出版社Balkema Publishers出版了万兆惠和王兆印的"Hyperconcentrated Flow"一书,,以上部分成果反映在其中。1994以后仍继续进行高含沙水流研究,实验发现:在一定水流条件下,含沙量超过500Kg/m3,进一步提高含沙量会引起剧烈堆积。高含沙水流的流动本身也具有不稳定性。通过实验和理论分析发现,高含沙水流变成非牛顿体时,表面失稳发生波动,理论分析和实验证明了这种不稳定性与无因次数Sy和Svis的关系。高含沙水流长距离输送问题极为复杂,影响因素众多,需要进一步探讨其在治理黄河实践中的可行性及应用条件。这方面的论文发表在中国科学、力学学报、美国土木工程协会(ASCE)"Journal of Hydraulic Engineering"和国际水利学会(IAHR)期刊”Journal of Hydraulic Research”等刊物上。

从1980以来进行泥石流研究,主要通过试验研究泥石流的形成过程和运动机理,同时发展理论模型。通过野外调研和实验发现,不同地区的泥石流因泥沙组成不同而发育成一相泥石流或两相泥石流。一相泥石流多为粘性泥石流,由于内部相对运动小不消耗能量,运动速度很快。通常为非牛顿体,由于屈服应力作用发展成波动流和间歇流,发生极大的弯道超高和显著的减阻现象。研究发现,泥石流减阻主要是掺混的气泡在底部形成气垫所致。两相泥石流由石块和液相组成,颗粒之间的碰撞剧烈大量耗能,运动速度慢,杀伤力小但破坏力大。实验发现大石块对能量的聚集作用是触发泥石流的关键之一。颗粒流速分布从头部向后逐渐由直线型向反S型变化。较大颗粒的平均速度大,上部小颗粒瞬时速度大,但碰撞中将能量传给大颗粒而停滞。两相泥石流的阻力明显高于水流。这项成果加深了对泥石流机理的认识。主要成果发表在“力学学报”“地理学报”、“水利学报”、“自然灾害学报”和国际期刊“International Journal of Sediment Research”、“Water International”等刊物上。

③河床结构消能减灾

1995年开始河床结构的研究,1999年进行室内试验,2006年通过野外试验应用于河流治理和生态修复。河床结构是大石块和大卵石有规律地排列形成的结构,例如阶梯-深潭结构、肋状结构、族群结构等。研究发现河床结构可以使水流消能率和阻力最大化,控制水流冲刷防止河床下切和增加水生物栖息地的多样性。阶梯-深潭结构消能原理类似于水库大坝下游的消能系统,相当于阶梯消能和水跃消能的综合。计算得出阶梯-深潭结构消减了65-80%的水流动能,使得能够造成河床河岸冲刷的临界洪水流量提高了3-4倍。为了测量结构强度发明了一种测量排和计算结构强度的公式。在川滇青藏河流观测发现,水流能量由河床结构消能、推移质运动耗能和边界摩擦耗能来平衡,河床结构愈强,推移质运动愈弱。如果河床结构强度很高,推移质运动完全被抑制。这证明了推移质输沙公式不适用于山区河流正是由于没有考虑河床结构的原因。

堰塞坝的稳定性决定于河床结构的发育强度,测量了大量现代和古代堰塞坝的结构强度得出了不同水流强度条件下堰塞坝稳定的临界曲线。如果堰塞坝河槽结构强度低于临界曲线,洪水发生时可能溃决,必须采取措施清除堰塞坝。2009年在四川震区清平乡文家沟滑坡体上应用了人工阶梯-深潭结构减轻泥石流灾害。2008年暴雨泥石流在滑坡体上冲刷出深达50多米的泥石流沟。将沟两边20-50m高的岸坡上直径1-5m的巨石放下到沟底,模仿天然阶梯-深潭使其堆迭成33级人工阶梯-深潭结构。暴雨洪水经过阶梯跃起,从石块堆成1-3m高的阶梯跌入其下方的深潭,水流的大部分能量消耗在跌水和水跃中,使得水流冲刷能力减弱,避免其侵蚀河床、岸坡和输送泥沙。人工结构对滑坡体起到了有效的保护作用,从而避免了灾害性泥石流的发生,没有造成任何生命财产损失。试验结果证明人工阶梯-深潭完全可以有效地消耗水流能量,减少泥石流的发生,并大大降低泥石流的规模和破坏力。主要成果发表在 “水利学报”、“地球科学进展”、“泥沙研究”和国际期刊“Natural hazard”、“International Journal of Sediment Research”、“Environmental Earth Sciences”等刊物上。

④河流生态综合管理

2001年开始关注和水流水生态,2003年通过野外试验研究水沙对生态的影响。10年来在100多条河流进行底栖无脊椎动物、鱼类和水生植物采样,提出了适合中国河流的生态定量评价公式和指标,并在拒马河、云南小江、黄河源支流和东江支流进行野外试验,得出了底栖动物物种组成和河床底质、栖息地的多样性与隔离的关系以及生物在河床泥沙不同层位的分布。提出了生态泥沙学的概念和研究方向。研究发现稳定型河流为生物提供稳定且多样的栖息空间,各种底栖动物和鱼类都能生存。下切的河流只有抓附力强的动物才能生存,如蜉蝣目、双翅目、毛翅目、鞘翅目等;淤积抬升的河流生物多样性更低,只有双翅目、鞘翅目、蜻蜓目、寡毛纲、十足目等。强烈走沙型河流,底栖动物难以生存,多样性很低。提出了生物栖息地的多样性的计算方法,并发现生物多样性与栖息地多样性成正比。物种入侵已经成为国际性难题,例如沼蛤入侵输水涵管造成生物污损。在西枝江泵站建设滨河试验槽,研究发现了诱导附着控制沼蛤入侵,结合高频湍流灭杀取得几乎100%控制沼蛤入侵的理想效果。

基于河流生态健康与综合管理,提出河流治理的四个方向,即:1)增加河水在陆地上的流动时间;2)控制侵蚀并减少河道输沙;3)提高栖息地多样性和连通性; 4)保持和恢复河流的自然景观。由此评价裁弯取直、河道硬化和江湖隔离不利于河流健康,而控制侵蚀、丁坝群、和河岸加糙有利于河流稳定和生态。在云南吊嘎河进行河流综合治理实验。建造人工阶梯-深潭系统控制河床下切、修复河流生态、控制泥石流灾害、建设景观多目标综合治理。经过三年治理,试验段河床侵蚀下切得到有效控制,泥石流灾害减轻,创造了多样性的水生栖息地,水声动物密度增长10倍、物种丰度及生物多样性增长2倍。主要成果发表在 “生态学报”、“水科学进展”、“水生生物学报”和国际期刊 “International journal of hydraulic research”、“International Journal of Sediment Research”、“Water Resources Research”、“Ecological Modeling”、“Journal of Hydro-environment Research”,“Quaternary International”、“River Research and Applications”等刊物上。

国际出版商Springer Verlag 和清华大学出版社联合出版了王兆印、S. Melching和J.H.Lee合著“River dynamics and integrated river management”是上述成果的集大成。

⑤ 河床演变以及河口三角洲演变

从动力学角度研究河道在非恒定流水沙条件下,在沉积物构成的空间中的运动规律,初步创立了河道运动力学基础理论。首次提出了河床惯性(River Bed Inertia)的概念,分析了河床惯性的性质,并得出天然河流洪水冲刷深度的计算公式。引入河床惯性的表达式,使Exner泥沙连续方程有了理论解析解。该成果在实践上已经应用于中国石油天然气穿河埋设管道的技术规范中。以黄河游荡性河段为主要对象, 研究非恒定流对河床改变的能力。这方面的成果发表在国际水利学会(IAHR)“Journal of Hydraulic Research”、“水利学报”、“泥沙研究”等刊物上。

对黄河三角洲的动力演变特征进行了进一步的分析研究,结果表明:三角洲河道的变迁影响了上游的洪水水位。河口的快速延伸加大了附近海流的流速,从而有利于海洋动力搬运更多的泥沙远离河口。分析了海河流域入海河口的河流、海洋动力变化,结合淤积现状调查及泥沙来源分析,探讨了海河流域入海河口淤积萎缩的机理,根据河口淤积萎缩对河道泄洪能力的影响分析,综合对比分析了各种河口综合整治方案。初步提出了河口萎缩综合治理的对策。其结果主要发表在国际期刊“Earth Surface Process and Landforms”和“水利学报”、“中国科学”、“International Journal of Sediment Research”、“水动力学研究与进展”等期刊上。
