Abstract
The Holocene
history of the Curonian Spit – one of the largest
accumulative coastal landforms – is under consideration. The vast amount of
regional geological data was used. The sea level changes affecting processes on
the marine and gulf coasts of the spit, as well as aeolian
processes, configurate the recent spit morphology.
Keywords: geology,
geomorphology, palaeogeography, boreholes, sea level,
