Abstract

This article was introducing a new method of turbidity control in sediment model test. The single screw pump is used in the new method with various velocity controlled by AC transducer. Compare to the traditional technique, the new method has below advantages: good progress in economizing energy, high precision in control processing, more automatically and continuously adjustable in the control processing of turbidity. With the new technique, system structure can be more simple, more flexible and lower cost. This new method is available for each kind of sediment model and model sand. Moreover, The range of the concentration of transportable turbidity is also far larger than the traditional technique.
