Abstract

This paper introduces water and silt basic characteristics in the sea outfall of Yellow River in Shandong Province, as well as the general situation of diversion irrigation area. It focuses on analysis of the 8 sub-system such as classified sediment monitoring of sediment system treatment, channel intake diversion and sediment control, desilting basin highland covering for reducing to cultivated land, plain reservoir storage engineering, channel system seepage proof and silt control, desilting mechanization, sediment in field engineering and comprehensive utilization of sediment. At the end, the paper makes beneficial analysis on social, economic and environment about the sediment system treatment in Yellow River diversion irrigation area.
