Abstract
In this
paper, three methods applied in dealing with pier column group influence to the
flow in the two-dimensional flow numerical model are compared, analyzed and
verified with computation results. The analyses and calculations demonstrate
that refined mesh method is adaptable to the pier column group with large size,
small number and regular shape, and if the wall side law is brought into the
calculation the result will be more reasonable. Additional roughness method and
additional resistance one are adaptable to the pier column group with small
size, little number and complex shape. In the region covered by pier column
group, the longitudinal velocity calculated by refined mesh method is less than
the one gained by other methods and as regards the lateral velocity the result
is counter.
