Abstract

Sedimentation problems in Serbia are presented in this paper. The review includes the analysis of sediment yield over Serbian teritory, as well as the distribution of sediment load in the hydrologic network in Serbia. On the basis of field measurements, the sediment budget in the river network of Serbia has been determined. The paper encompass also the consideration of issues related to the reservoirs siltation.
