Abstract

During the experimental research it was determined that a considerable part of polluting materials comes from urban territories as adsorbed by slime. The wash-off from urban territories happens earlier in time then flood peak on transit river. That is the reason why the most part of polluted slime stays in the bottom land, riverbeds and on their ice-sheet. Later, during the maximum outflow and the high flood level on the territory of the city, these slime puddles, polluting materials dissolve in water, which leads to secondary river pollution at the flood peak.
