Abstract

The most reliable and comprehensive account of suspended sediment flow in the Danube Delta can be measured using a standard method which consists of establishing a relationship between a single (ρs) and an average turbidity (ρa). Special research has been conducted and proved it possible to establish that ρa in all instances is greater than ρs and this is characteristic of all the gauging stations where the observation of turbidity was conducted. As a result of the conducted recalculation, the normal suspended sediment flow account in the delta of the Danube is more than in archival records.
