Abstract

According to the flood routing characteristic of Hanjiang River and Yangtze River, a coupling mathematical model is presented to simulate the complicated flood routing of two rivers. In the established process of model, finite volume method is adopted in the discretization of control equations, and upwind scheme is used to deal with convection item. And the Yangtze River, Hanjiang River and Dongjing channel are simulated as river network.Calculation results can suit to the measured datum which also proved the high accuracy in the simulation of flow process.
