Abstract

Regularity and peculiarity of sedimentation in large plain reservoirs located in various natural zones is analyses. Geographical zoning rate of sedimentation is discovered. It is connected with zoning of main sources sedimentation–yield of rivers sediment and erosion of banks. Close and direct dependency of average rate sedimentation on relative erosion length of banks is discovered.
