Abstract
Rating curve method
is used largely in various calculations of suspended sediment flux in different
environments. This paper shows, how this empirical
method can be extended on estimation of sediment flux from ungauged
watersheds. Permafrost influence on processes of sediment formation is
examined. Aspects of GIS analysis of environmental data as applied to
estimation of sediment fluxes are reviewed.
