Abstract
Increasing anthropogenous load for river-beds
brings about improvements over the existing methods for computation of basic
hydrological characteristics. Extraction of sandy-gravel mixture (SGM) from
river-beds exerts substantial influence on mechanisms of sediment transport.
Giving qualitative and quantitative estimation of the influence is possible by
way of employment of experimental research results. Results of a full-scale
study of conditions for sediment transport formation in the segments of the Dniestr
with river-bed
pits for the period that encompasses various stages of their working are
presented in the paper.
