Abstract

As to the instability problem of non-Newtonian fluid such as sediment-load fluid, compared with Newtonian fluid such as clear water, not only critical Reynolds number, the ratio of the inertia force and the viscous force, but also many other factors such as the sediment concentration, the concentration distribution, the grain size, the volumetric weight of the sediment and so on are included in it, which make the mechanical principle become even more complex. So to research on this problem is of great meaning to explain the turbulence intensity of the flow carries sediment and the variance tendency of the turbulence structure in mechanics of sediment motion.
