Abstract
For channels under
the natural circumstances in the alluvial plain, the interaction between the
currents of water and the river bed is the main reason for forming the various
side slopes of channel bank. Many researchers in several subjects have been
looking forward to the right mathematical description about the process of the
interaction and the useful indicator to design the practical bank protection
and the construction. This article refers to the accumulation graphics of the
affine spheroid noncohesive sediment, adding the
effect of the current of water, builds up a corresponding mechanics equilibrium
equation, which shows the calculation formula. Based on that, this article
builds up an equation about the theoretical slope of the bank. According to the
preliminary calculation, it presents that the formula can reveal the
interaction between the current of water and the river bed. It can explain the
reason about the formation of the various slopes. Exploring the stability of
the slopes can benefit from the formula.
