Abstract
Influence of slope
change on sediment erosion is studied basing on 16 groups of experiments of
sediment-carrying flow with 3 different kinds of consolidation time in
generalized experimental flume series. Research result shows that total
sediment erosion amount of every experiment differs little under the condition
of small slope, but it will change sensitively if the slope increases and
longer consolidation time brings less erosion amount under the same slope.
Farther, 2 groups of experiments with longer consolidation time are conducted
in order to study the influence of consolidation time on erosion, and the
result is that the longer the consolidation time is, the less erosion amount
will be made. Lastly, the anterior research achievement is utilized to analyze
the qualitative restoration degree of river erosion in the reservoir after the
dam is removed preliminarily. According to the research, total sediment erosion
amount will not change greatly even with longer consolidation time after a long
period of consolidation. With certain erosion intensity and slope, longer time
of consolidation always brings smaller erosion amount and short time of consolidation
always brings larger erosion amount.
