Abstract
The turbulence structure
of sediment-laden flow will be effected due to
the sediment particles, and further effects the distribution of velocity of
flow. In this paper, MicroADV was applied to
measure the distribution of time–mean velocity in sediment-laden flow. It was
analyzed that the influence of interaction between different sediment
conditions (sediment concentration, diameter of particles) and different flow
to the distribution of velocity of flow. Consider existing
velocity of flows distribute formula applications on actual water of river
velocity of flows along vertical the basis of it, Propose new the velocity of
flow of index type, and tested the formula’s correctness
or precision according to the experiment data, at the same
time, the variational law of coefficient k and index
m in the formula velocity of flow of index type with sediment concentration s, diameter
of particles d and hydraulic condition is analyzed, Show that coefficient k
increases with increasing of sediment concentration, hydraulic condition and diameter
of particles are influencing the change of coefficient k equally; Index m decreases
with increasing of diameter of particles, increases with increasing of sediment
concentration.
