Abstract

The problem of small river degradation has been paid an increasing attention during the last decades. The paper presents the approach for classification of the Ukrainian Volyn Polesie small rivers according to their natural conditions and anthropogenic impact. Implications for sustainable management of small rivers of different types and other associated natural resources are also discussed.
