Abstract

Using the maps of 1950 and 1980 was defined the increase in the length of the ravine-gully and hydrographic network. Degree of the increase depends on the landscape type, the steepness of surface slope and the forest cover. The greatest increase in the length of the hydrographic network (0.3-0.6 km km-2) is typical to the landscapes of slightly divided lake-glacier, erosive significantly divided and hilly marine plains with surface slopes from 1.8 to 2.2°. The least increase in the length of the hydrographic network (from 0.08 to 0.18 km km-2) is characteristic of the landscapes of swampy and woody parts territory of the Verchnaya Oka basin.
