Abstract

Drainage basins are complex systems with heterogeneous elements and morphometric structure. This structure has impact to sediments redistribution within basins. Especially dramatically these events could be shown at example of small basins where significant differences take place within tight space. Interrelation the basins structure and sediment redistribution is researching on the example of seven basins 4th orders within Seym River Basin (Middle Russian Plane). It is show that sediment redistribution within small basins of River Seym Basin strongly depends on structure of them; to studies of sedimentation there can be successfully used Horton-analysis in Strahler modification; the most dramatically processes of erosion and sedimentation at the region take place within 1st orders, i.e. upper 500 m of basins: overpowering denudation combine with 61% of sedimentation by volume.
