WORK EXPERIENCE

 2001 – present:

Professor (from 2007) and Senior Engineer (Associate Professor) (from 2000) in the International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES) under auspices of UNESCO. I have the experience in organizing international conferences, symposia, seminar, workshops and training courses related water Science, and have much involved in a international organization establishment and IHP - International Sediment Initiative (ISI) issues.

  • Construction and maintenance of the UNESCO - ISI Information System and ISI WebPages (2006 -)
  • Member of the International Advisory Committee of the International Sediment Initiative Conference (ISIC) (27-30 Nov. 2006, Khartoum, Sudan)
  • Involved in the signing of Agreement between the Government of the People’ Republic of China and the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization concerning the International Research and Training Centre on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES), prepared the draft agreement and contacted related agencies and organizations (2005).

Associate Professor (from 2000) and lecturer (from 1993) in the Department of Environmental Engineering, Anhui Institute of Architecture and Industry, Hefei, China.

Head of the water and wastewater teaching and research section. Education on courses related water science such as Hydraulics, Pump and Pumping Station, Wastewater Engineering, Water Supply Engineering and Urban Flood Control Engineering and participated in researches on water supply, urban drainage system, flood control and water pollution control.

1986 – 1988:

Governmental experience at the Construction Bureau of Guoyang County, Anhui Province
