ABOUT ABSTRACT ACCEPTANCE

We have received several emails or letters to inquire whether their abstracts had been accepted.  I, on behalf of the Local Organising Committee of the 9th ISRS, would like to reply you here that we have sent emails to all of the corresponding authors to inform you whether your abstracts submitted for the Symposium had been accepted, no matter the abstracts accepted or not. Please contact me (Dr. Liu, chliu@iwhr.com) or Ms. Tong (tongyl@iwhr.com ) if you did not receive any response.  We normally reply you as soon as possible when we receive your email related to the Symposium. If  you do not get any reply in one week after you send us a email, please do not hesitate to contact us again (an alternative email address: irtces@public.bta.net.cn; Fax: +86-10-68411174).

       More than 500 abstracts from 50 countries or regions, with subjects covered all of the topics listed for the symposium, have been received by the Secretariat of the 9th ISRS, in which more than 200 abstracts are from outside of China. It is expected that the 9th ISRS may be able to accept about 450 papers out of more than 500 received, including 12 keynotes, approximately 40 invited papers and 500 contributed papers. Encouraged by a large number of contributions from world renowned experts, we are looking forward to a professionally rewarding Conference.

        The authors who have received the abstract acceptances are kindly requested to submit the full-length paper manuscript to the Symposium secretariat no later than March 31 2004. Electronic version of full-length paper in a Word file (diskette, CD or transfer by e-mail) is necessary. Please show your paper No. when you submit your full-length paper. The Paper length should be strictly limited to 8 pages (preferably 6 pages) including tables and figures.
