The
proceedings of the 9th ISRS will be issued as both as a set of printed
volumes and a CD-ROM with the full papers. In order to achieve a
timely publication, the texts will be printed on CD-ROM directly from
authors' submissions. Authors are therefore fully responsible for the
quality of their article and are kindly requested to observe the
following instructions. Authors should guarantee the quality of their
papers both in terms of content and language, in order to avoid
rejection by the reviewers. Please read the instructions
carefully!
The
text should be typed in Microsoft WORD format (Word 97, 2000). Keep
the layout of the text as simple as possible. The manuscripts are to
be submitted in both electronic and printed format. The full-length
paper should not exceed 8 pages (including abstract, figures, tables,
photographs, etc.). All papers and related correspondence should be

The
text should be prepared according to the guidelines given below.
References, tables, figures, photographs etc. should be included
within the main text. The final text should be submitted both in
manuscript form (3 copies) and in electric form (standard CD, 3.5''
diskettes or by email). It is essential that the name and version of
the word-processing program used be clearly indicated on the diskette
label. The full paper will be a Word file (.doc) of the document.
Observe
and stick to the deadline (March 31, 2004) for submitting your paper.
Use a strong cardboard or padded envelope when you mail your
contribution, and do not fold the pages. Send the contribution by
registered mail, airmail, a courier service or Email.
Submission
of an article is understood to imply that the article is original and
unpublished and is not being considered for publication elsewhere.

Manuscripts must be written in English. SI-units should be used (kg,
m, s).
(2)
Every page of the printed manuscript, including the title page,
references, tables, etc., should be numbered on the back. Avoid
excessive use of italics, capitals or bold type in the text.

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

Title
centered in 14 point font (capitals, bold) with two line spaces
above.

Name(s)
of author(s) centered in 12 point font with one line space above
but no space below. Author's name is written in an order: given
name, middle name, and surname (surname capitalized).

Full
affiliation(s) and address(es) for correspondence centered in 10
point font Address(es) can include e-mail address of each author,
but do not include each author's title and phone and fax number.

Abstract
in 10 point font with two line spaces above, single spaced, 10 to
20 lines.

in 10 point font with one line space above and one line space
below.

The organizers reserve the right to return accepted manuscripts and
illustrations to the author(s) that are not in the form given in the
instructions.
Original
illustrations (line drawings and photographs) should be ready for
printing. Only black-and-white photographs of good contrast and
intensity will be accepted. Xerox copies of photographs cannot be
accepted. Illustrations should be designed with the format of the
page. Tables
and figures should be numbered consecutively. Captions of tables
should be placed above and centred. Captions of figures should be
placed below and centered. Letters and annotations in tables and
figures should be in 10 point font.
Below figures
and tables leave 1 line space. Formulas and equations should be
numbered consecutively with numbers flush
right in brackets. Footnotes should only be used if absolutely
necessary.
REFERENCES
Type
the word "REFERENCES" as a heading in bold 10 point.
For each reference, a dangling indent with 4-8 mm is preferable rather
than numbering. Samples are shown below.
For
a journal paper: Last name(s) and initial(s) of author(s), year of
publication, title of paper, name of journal (in italic), volume
number, issue number, inclusive page numbers with hyphen.
