Abstract submission is still acceptable until April 20, 2004

Dear colleagues:

As a response to the many requests we have received, the Local Organizing Committee of ICEC-2006 (Second International Conference on Estuaries & Coasts ) has decided to extend the deadline for abstracts submission to 

May 15, 2006.

The new deadlines are as follows:

1. May 15 for abstract submissions.

2. May 15 the abstract acceptance notifications.

The ICEC-2006, co-sponsored by UNESCO, IAHR, WASER, IAHS and other 26 international institutes and organizations, has drawn much attention from worldwide scholars, engineers and decision makers in this area. The number of submitted abstracts at this time is not only surprisingly high but many of the abstracts are in a very high degree of outstanding topics and quality.  Until March 31, 2006, more than 150 abstracts have been received by the LOC of the ICEC-2006. The abstracts are from more than 20 countries or regions, with subjects covered all of the topics listed for the conference.

We would like once again to extend our invitation to you to consider joining us here in Guangzhou, China this November, 28-30. If you have interest in ICEC-2006, please submit your abstract to the secretariat of ICEC-2006 by Emails( icec2006@prwri.com.cn or icec2006@yahoo.com).
